The Red Sox have announced their Spring Training slate for next season with the annual kickoff against the Northeastern University Huskies on Friday, February 21 at JetBlue Park in Fort Myers, Florida.
The official spring slate, a total of 30 games, begins the next day with a road game against the Rays in Port Charlotte.
Major League Baseball’s Spring Breakout initiative continues in 2025. The Red Sox will field a team of their top prospects in an exhibition game against the Rays’ top prospects on Thursday, March 13, also at Port Charlotte. Since that’s a road game, the Sox will also host a top prospects game at home at JetBlue Park on Friday, March 14.
Spring Training wraps up on Sunday, March 23 with a game against the Twins. Four days later, the Sox will open their 125th season in Arlington, Texas against the Rangers.
