Even in a blow out game like Sunday’s against the Orioles, Brock Holt found a way to distinguish himself, collecting 2 hits and 3 walks in 5 trips to the plate. When the smoke cleared Sunday, Holt was batting .457 for the season in 40 plate appearances over 11 games.
The fact is, Holt is so hot and so versatile that it’s practically impossible to keep him out of the lineup.
It’s unlikely to come as a surprise, then that the Red Sox want to find more players like Brock Holt. And Boston Herald reporter Michael Silverman says, the club is doing more than just hoping that will happen: they’re actively looking for ways to make their prospects more like Brock.
