With their re-tooled lineup and the final season for David Ortiz, the Red Sox will feature prominently on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball next season.
The sports network has already announced four Red Sox Sunday night games, each of which are scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM Eastern Time.
- April 24, Red Sox at Astros
- May 1, Yankees at Red Sox

Depending on how the season is going, there could be more Boston games on Sunday night. Decisions about games after July 17 are made two to three weeks out.
ESPN will have extensive Opening Day coverage in 2016 with three games Sunday, April 3 (Cardinals at Pirates, Blue Jays at Rays, and Mets at Royals) and four games on Monday, April 4 (Astros at Yankees, Mariners at Rangers, Dodgers at Padres, and Cubs at Angels).
