With the World Series is behind us, let me be among the first to officially welcome you to the offseason. There will be plenty to discuss as we once again enter an offseason that could be fairly more exciting than what we saw on the field in 2015.
Truck Day, that special day when the equipment heads south from Fenway and heralds the near-end of winter, will be Wednesday, February 10.
Pitchers and catchers report on February 18. The first full-squad workout is February 24 at JetBlue Park in Lee County, Florida. Workouts are free and open to the public.
Spring Training exhibition games begin February 29. Tickets for the 17 home exhibition games go on sale December 5 with no change in pricing over 2015.
There will be a free open house event scheduled at JetBlue for Saturday, February 27.
