The annual two-day fan festival, Red Sox Winter Weekend, is fast coming up. This year at MGM Springfield for the first time, the event is set for January 17-19 and kicks off with a Town Hall Meeting that includes Sox Principal Owner John Henry, Chairman Tom Werner, President and CEO Sam Kennedy, Chief Baseball Officer Chaim Bloom, General Manager Brian O’Halloran, and Manager Alex Cora.
21 current Red Sox are confirmed to attend including Xander Bogaerts, Jackie Bradley, Michael Chavis, Rafael Devers, Nathan Eovaldi, Eduardo Rodríguez and Christian Vázquez.
17 former Sox are also on the event roster, including Hall of Famers Wade Boggs, Dennis Eckersley, Pedro Martinez and Jim Rice as well as fan favorites like David Ortiz, Jerry Remy, Jason Varitek and Koji Uehara.
Past attendees Mookie Betts, Chris Sale, and David Price are not expected to attend this year’s event.
